Worth County, Iowa

Worth County is a county in North Central Iowa. It was named for William Jenkins Worth, an officer in the Mexican-American War.
The county seat and largest city are both Northwood. The county is largely rural, and located at the top of Iowa.
The county borders Mitchell, Cerro Gordo and Winnebago Counties in Iowa; as well as Mower and Freeborn Counties in Minnesota.
Main Highways include US-218 and IA-9
